By car you can reach Bad Frankenhausen via the B 85. Motorway junctions are on the A 72 Artern or Sömmerda Ost and on the A 38 Rossla. Coming from the city, the museum can be reached directly via the “Panoramastraße” to the north and without having to turn off again. The parking lot is approx. 500 m away from the museum. Direct access to the house is possible for the disabled. Please follow the signs for “disabled parking spaces”.

When traveling by train, the Berga - Kelbra train station on the route between Halle and Göttingen, the Heldrungen train station on the Sangerhausen and Erfurt route and the Sondershausen train station on the Nordhausen and Erfurt route are recommended. Corresponding bus connections are available on site to Bad Frankenhausen. You can walk to the Panorama Museum from the city center in around 30 minutes.

By car you can reach Mühlhausen via the B 247 coming from Erfurt. If you are driving from the direction of Eschwege or Sondershausen to Mühlhausen, take the B 249. Parking in the city center is provided by “Blobach”, the “Thüringentherme” multi-storey car park (access to “Brunnenstraße”) and “Untermarkt”. Coaches we recommend to use the “Blobach”. The museums can be reached on foot in a few minutes from the parking facilities mentioned. The tourist guidance system supports you on the way and also guides you to other sights of the city. Bicycle parking spaces are available for cyclists at all museums.

By train you can reach Mühlhausen via the next ICE train stations in Göttingen, Erfurt and Eisenach. From here you can take the regional express to the train station of the medieval imperial city in about an hour. The museums can be reached on foot in around 20 minutes.
